Laaer Wald

Laaer Wald

The Construction

On the property next to Puchsbaumgasse in the 10th district of Vienna, two residential buildings are going to be built- both used in a variety of ways. The northern part will be developed as a residential complex with seven upper floors, a parking garage for the residents and a versatile utilizable ground floor. The ground floor will be bordered with spacious garden areas. The southern part offers space for a construction with six upper floors and a basement. The underground floor will provide storage spaces for the residents, a bicycle storage room as well as parking spaces. There will be an underground connection between the two buildings to increase the parking possibilities if necessary. Contributing to the rising amount of e-cars, parking spaces equipped with charging facilities will be included as well. For natural lighting, an atrium starting at the 1st floor is planned, creating a bright, friendly indoor climate.

Location

The property is located in the centre of the 10th district in Vienna, which has become – due to the construction of the new main railway station - one of the most modern districts in the city. The train station is easily reachable with the metro line U1, having a station situated in only short walking distance from the two complexes. If not by public transportation, the site is also greatly reachable by car by using the nearby highway connection Südost Tangente. In addition to its accessibility, the property offers plenty of shopping and leisure activities within the area. Moreover, on Puchsbaumgasse, if you follow the street towards the city centre, you will find the site Ankerbrotfabrik, where art, culture and culinary delights are offered vastly. The forest Laaer Wald with its extensive walking paths and the pond “Butterteich” invite to linger and relax. Also located in Laaer Wald, you will find the Bohemian Prater, an amusement park, with its traditional ringlets and a small ferris wheel offering a fantastic view over Vienna.
